Lil Uzi Vert closed out a spectacular set at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash 2026 by telling everyone at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois that they have a new album coming out.
On June 12, Lil Uzi Vert told the crowd the good news in a quick message designed to get them amped for the future.
“New album on the way. I gotta get home and take care of my baby monkey,” they said as the crowd roared.
Lil Uzi Vert’s upcoming project would be their fifth studio album and their first since 2024’s Eternal Atake 2. That project debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 with 59,000 album-equivalent units in its first week.
Uzi’s Summer Smash 2026 set began with them being tardy to the stage.
“Sorry I’m late. I had to jump off the jet,” they said apologetically to kick things off.
Then, they launched the set with an unreleased track that may very well appear on the upcoming project.
From there, Uzi performed fan favorites like “Pop,” “Aye,” “Do What I Want,” and “Money Longer.” Continuing their set, Uzi played other tracks like “New Patek” and “Just Wanna Rock,” and gave fellow festival performer North West a shoutout.
After their new album announcement, Uzi wrapped the set by performing an unreleased song in what appeared to be a British accent.
In other Lil Uzi Vert news, the rapper opened up in an interview last month about their aversion to having their music explained in eras. “This is the same era,” they said. “Everybody is always talking about eras. It’s still from the beginning. I’m never going to stop.”
In the same interview, Uzi revealed how much they hate mayonnaise when asked to tell viewers something they wouldn’t know about them by looking at them.
“Can’t tell that you could rob me with mayonnaise. No gun, no knife, none of that. Mayonnaise.”
