Lisa Yamada Wins Outstanding Emerging Talent Daytime Emmy

Lisa Yamada has won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Emerging Talent for the role of Luna Nozawa on The Bold and the Beautiful. Yamada joined The Bold and the Beautiful in 2023. This was her first Daytime Emmy win and her first nomination.

The category of Outstanding Emerging Talent made its debut at this year’s Daytime Emmys. To qualify for nomination, a performer must be in their first two years on their first daytime drama series.

Secrets and lies have surrounded Luna since she first joined B&B. She was revealed to be the niece of Dr. Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda). Her mother Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) followed close behind. Luna has committed murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, and most recently, the rape of Will Spencer (Crew Morrow).
