In early November, Inigo Montoya Mandy Patinkin announced he’s going on a ‘Jukebox Tour’ with Adam Ben-David on piano at performing arts centers, music halls, playhouses and theaters all over North America from January through April 2026.
While out and about on the 14-concert run, the 73-year-old tenor-to-baritone “Princess Bride” star will make a trio of New York and New Jersey stops. First, he’s slated to headline at New York City’s Peter Jay Sharpe Theatre on Wednesday, Feb. 18 and Saturday, Feb. 21.
Then, a little over two months later, the talented star hits Newark’s New Jersey Performing Arts Center on Sunday, April 19.
“I’ll be singing some of my favorite songs from the last 30+ years of being on the road with concerts and some new stuff!” Patinkin shared on Instagram about the new tour. “Hope to see you and your neighbors there! Also continuing to tour my previous concert Being Alive.”
For the record, all three NY and NJ concerts are ‘Being Alive’ shows where he performs his favorite Broadway, American, and classic tunes by household names like Sondheim and Irving Berlin, while throwing in tales from his life.

Patinkin’s “The Princess Bride” director Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle died at their home on Dec. 14 in what is being called an apparent homicide.
A native New Yorker, Reiner was the son of 11-time Emmy winning writer, director and actor Carl Reiner. His mother Estelle acted and is most known for appearing in her son’s film “When Harry Met Sally” and uttering the now-immortal line “I’ll have what she’s having!” in response to Meg Ryan’s enthusiastic reaction to a turkey sandwich on club bread.
In addition to directing “The Princess Bride” and “Stand By Me” Reiner also helmed “This Is Spinal Tap,” “When Harry Met Sally,” “Misery,” “A Few Good Men” and portrayed Archie Bunker’s foil Michael “Meathead” Stivic in “All In The Family.”
