Maren Morris reveals she got a spam invite text to Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift wedding

Well, it looks like Maren Morris has been the victim of some spam text that invited her to Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s upcoming wedding.

“I got this spam text a couple weeks ago, and it was like, ‘You’re invited to Taylor [Swift] and Travis [Kelce’s] wedding,’” Morris revealed during an appearance on SiriusXM Hits 1 Miami with Mack & Je.

She did not give the text a lot of thought as she immediately knew that it wasn’t real.

“And I was like, ‘I’m blocking this,’ because, like, there’s no way they would send an invitation through a text like this.”

However, she did find it odd that the sender was able to get her phone number. She did jokingly consider with the hosts if the text could have been real.

“What if I, like, trashed it?” asked Morris. “This is weird.”

Kelce proposed to Swift in August 2025 after two years of dating.

“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” the caption read on their joint Instagram post.

Their wedding will reportedly take place on July 3 in New York City according to a report by Page Six when allegedly “save-the-dates” were sent out to guests.

While there has been a lot of speculation about their big day, Kelce and Swift have not confirmed nor denied the reports at this time. Swift however went on a press run for the release of her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, where she said while she has spoken about love throughout her career through her music, she didn’t have a wedding pre-planned prior to being engaged to Kelce.

“You would think that I had been that type of person who would have obsessed over the idea of a wedding my whole life but I ­actually never thought about what I would ever do or what I would want — until I met the person,” she told U.K.’s Heart Radio back in February.
