Margot Robbie Says a Male Co-Star Gave Her a Book ‘Telling You to Eat Less’ and to ‘Let Me Know I Should Lose Weight’: ‘F— You, Dude’

“Wuthering Heights” duo Margot Robbie and Charli xcx joined forces for Complex’s latest “Goat Talk” video interview, where Robbie revealed that a male co-star once gave her a book advising her to lose weight. Robbie, who stars in and produces “Wuthering Heights,” remembered the insulting encounter when asked to name the worst gift she’s ever received.

“Very, very early in my career, an actor I worked with, a male actor, gave me a book called ‘Why French Women Don’t Get Fat,’ and it was essentially a book telling you to eat less,” Robbie said, much to Charli’s shock.
