MCU fans are calling for Marvel Zombies Season 2 following the show’s debut on Disney+. The four-episode animated series, directed by Bryan Andrews and written by Zeb Wells, marks the MCU’s first R-rated animated project and quickly became a trending topic online. Viewers have filled social platforms with reactions, urging Marvel Studios to continue the series and build on its strong reception.

MCU fans want Marvel Zombies Season 2 as soon as possible

Fans of Marvel Zombies are actively calling for a second season following the show’s debut on Disney+. One fan wrote, “Imma need a season 2 asap. This show captured a lot in the bottle in just 4 episodes. We got some insanely cool stuff. The action was peak. The character interactions are some s— I NEED to see live action. And that cliffhanger was a bold move and I loved it!”

Another viewer reacted to the finale with, “THAT’S HOW MARVEL ZOMBIES ENDS??? No wonder they said they might be making a season 2. I WANT MORE. That was amazing. There were some parts where I actually got emotional, too. 10/10 series. Scarlet Witch was scary.”

Marvel Studios executives have already addressed the possibility of additional episodes. Brad Winderbaum, Marvel Television head, told Comicbook.com that plans are in place for more Marvel Zombies if audiences tune in. “Please, like, people have got to subscribe to Disney+ and watch this show. If that happens, they will get more. And we are excited. We’re ready,” Winderbaum said.

The first season, created by Bryan Andrews and Zeb Wells, premiered on September 24, 2025, as a four-episode TV-MA animated series. Cast members Florence Pugh, Hailee Steinfeld, Simu Liu, Elizabeth Olsen, and David Harbour returned to voice their MCU characters. The series expands on the What If…? zombie universe, introducing new storylines within the multiverse and featuring the MCU’s first appearance of Blade.

On social media, one fan compared the show to zombie staples, writing, “This show a 10/10 best Marvel Animated show! Like I love Zombies I love The Walking Dead and Resident Evil but what I do love is this Marvel Zombies now I read the Marvel Zombies comics So my recommendation watch What If… Zombies?! Episode before you start watching this.”
