Jessica Bosworth and Jesse Rosenwald — the winners of MasterChef Season 15, which saw duos compete for the top prize for the first time — had another thing to celebrate following the series finale: an engagement.
The pair got engaged during a watch party in Revere, Mass. that they held alongside family and close friends for the finale of the hit Gordon Ramsay cooking show on Wednesday, Sept. 17, according to Boston 25 News.
A few moments after Ramsay announced them as the winners on the screen, Rosenwald popped the question. Now the two are not only planning to become partners of their new business venture called “10 Inches South Shore Bar Pizza,” but in life too.

“This is our passion project, like our day jobs are great. We love who we work for. They pay the bills. That’s awesome, that’s amazing, but we have aspirations to do things for ourselves and to really just let people enjoy our food,” Rosenwald told Boston 25 News.
The newly engaged couple first met as bartenders about eight years ago and their mutual passion for cooking stirred up feelings between the two. They began dating and eventually ended up on the MasterChef stage, according to Boston Magazine.
However, the experience wasn’t exactly smooth sailing for the pair as they were sent home after losing in the first-round of the MasterChef “audition battle.” They were eventually able to make it back onto the show thanks to a second chance, and took it as far as they could — onto a win worth $250,000.
Bosworth recalled what it felt like to be crowned champions to Boston Magazine, saying, “Honestly, I blacked out. I remember a lot of sparklers going on, and looking into Jesse’s eyes. I’d never seen him so excited in my entirety of knowing him.”

She also noted to the outlet that he was a constant source of comfort throughout the competition — a good sign for their union to come.
“Jesse was my rock,” she shared. “He made me a stronger cook and strengthened me as a whole throughout the entire competition. If I didn’t have him to lean on, I don’t know how far I would have gotten. We were stronger together, for sure.”
“We complement each other greatly,” Rosenwald added to Boston Magazine. “Jess was creative: the design behind the plates, the flavor profiles. I was more like the work horse: “Alright, we’re going to get this done.”
