Meghan Markle has topped a “most disliked celebrity” poll, securing 48,000 votes from the public. The ranking, assembled by Ranker.com, positions famous figures based on viewer feedback, with the former Suits actress claiming the number one spot.
Prince Harry followed closely behind, landing in third place among the most unpopular celebrities.
The duo has remained embroiled in controversy since their exit from the UK in 2020, when they stepped down as royals, in what became known as “Megxit.”
After moving to the US, they’ve pursued a more secluded lifestyle while launching various projects, including Netflix deals and hosting numerous award shows.
Fresh backlash emerged recently when Meghan joined Fortune’s Most Powerful Women panel and both she and Harry accepted a humanitarian honor. These decisions sparked criticism from talk show personalities across both America and Britain.
The pair continues capturing public attention in both the UK and US following their swift relocation to America after their wedding and the birth of their first child. Meghan and Harry’s prominent positions on the disliked list have sparked extensive debate, with many sharing their views online.
