Meghan Markle will be bringing back her chocolate bars for Valentine’s Day, along with a brand new product and a sweet surprise. The Duchess of Sussex teased fans this week that “something new” will be coming.
In a new post on As Ever’s Instagram account, Meghan described her latest offering as a “love letter in chocolate” and added that it will hit the e-shelves just in time for Valentine’s Day. The new launch will feature another partnership with Los Angeles chocolatier Compartes and the launch will take place on Saturday, January 31.
However, despite still being a day early, various US outlets got sent a sneak peek of the new collection and revealed the products which will become available for purchase tomorrow.
Meghan’s new partnership with Compartes will bring back her three chocolate bars from last year, milk chocolate with shortbread cookies and bee pollen, dark chocolate with raspberry spread and sea salt and white chocolate with flower sprinkles and hemp hearts, as well as a new flavour — dark chocolate with strawberry spread and champenoise brut.
The new collection will be available for purchase on Saturday, January 31, at 3pm UK time.
It will reportedly feature the four chocolates in a keepsake box for £45 ($62), as well as White Chocolate and Flower Sprinkles Duo and the Dark Chocolate and Raspberry Spread Duo.
According to People magazine, the Dark Chocolate and Raspberry Spread Duo holds a sweet surprise, as it will feature the jam “inspired by Meghan’s original home-kitchen recipe”.
The Daily Express contacted the Duchess of Sussex’s representatives but received no response.
Meghan has previously collaborated with the chocolate company in December, when she launched £9 chocolate bars just in time for Christmas.
She described them as “perfect for stocking stuffers, elevated last-minute gifting, and sharing with guests”.
