Meghan Markle might have been in over her head when marrying Prince Harry.
According to journalist Samara Gill, entering the royal family was a “culture shock” for the Duchess of Sussex.
“It’s not as glamorous as the Disney fairytale,” she said during an appearance on the “Royal Exclusive” podcast.

“There’s nothing wrong with seeking the limelight. It’s just that the royal family was the wrong vehicle for her ambitions,” the journalist added.

Expert Phil Dampier claimed once the Suits star realized she didn’t have the freedom to use her status the way she wanted, she fled.
“To be honest, I don’t think she ever intended to stay in the royal family,” he told The Sun.
“Unfortunately, I think she was prepared to have a wonderful wedding costing millions of pounds, but I don’t think her heart was ever really in it,” the commentator said.
“I think she always planned to leave, so the proof of the pudding is in the eating and that’s what we’re seeing now,” Dampier noted.
