Meghan Markle joined the 2016 trend with a photo from a decade ago.
She paired it with a video taken in 2026 by her daughter, Lilibet.
In both, she and husband Prince Harry are sharing a romantic moment.
On Friday, Meghan Markle jumped on the trend of sharing pictures from 2016, posting an image of herself with Prince Harry from ten years ago. In the photo, she and Harry are standing in water in casual clothing, sharing a sweet embrace. Behind them is a gorgeous marshland background.
She paired the image with a current video she attributed to their daughter, Lilibet. The black-and-white clip shows the couple dancing together on a lawn and sharing a kiss as they sway. In the caption, the Duchess of Sussex wrote, “When 2026 feels just like 2016….you had to be there. 🎥 cred: our daughter.”
Meghan and Harry were married in 2018, two years after the romantic photo was taken. They met in July 2016, so the image must have been from early in their relationship.
In November 2025, Meghan spoked with Harper’s Bazaar, sharing how Harry has been supportive of her over he years as they both went through changes.
“He loves me so boldly, fully, and he also has a different perspective because he sees media that I wouldn’t,” she said. “No one in the world loves me more than him, so I know he’s always going to make sure that he has my back.”
She shared that his “childlike wonder and playfulness” first attracted her, adding, “I was so drawn to that, and he brought that out in me. That’s translated into every part of our life. Even in business, I want us to play and have fun and explore and be creative.”
The duchess also talked about Lilibet and their son, Archie, saying the kids are “constantly learning something new.”
She added, “I watch them face things that feel completely insurmountable every day. But you can remember and say, ‘I know it seems really hard right now, but trust me, that’s going to come so easily soon.’ I hope they see the value of being brave.”
