Meghan Markle took to social media to honor her husband Prince Harry, sharing a surpising throwback photo of him as he rang in his 41st birthday.
The Duchess of Sussex marked her husband’s big day with a special post, as she celebrated with him following his time in the UK.
While his time there allowed him to “work his magic” and work at a reunion with his father, King Charles, he is now back in the United States with his wife and children, and Markle couldn’t resist sharing a moving tribute to him on social media.
Taking to Instagram, the Duchess, 44, chose a unique and unexpected photo as she celebrated her spouse.
Forgoing images featuring their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, the Duchess opted for a photo featuring him during his years of military service.
The couple has been married since 2018, and welcomed their son a year later.
They stepped away from royal life in 2020, and settled in California, where they welcomed ther daughter in 2021.
The two have remained at odds with the royals since their move, after making explosive claims in interviews, a documentary and in Prince Harry’s memoir, Spare.
However, in time for his birthday, he appeared on the path towards mending his relationship with his father, following a reunion during his stint in the UK.
