Meghan Markle’s latest director of communications, Emily Robinson, has left her position after only a few months on the job.
“Ms. Robinson oversaw project-based work for a very successful season of With Love, Meghan and additional support for the production company,” a spokesperson for Meghan, 44, tells Us Weekly in a statement on Friday, October 24. “She did an excellent job and completed these projects with great success.”
Robinson joined Meghan and husband Prince Harry’s team in June after a previous stint doing publicity for Netflix. The Times of London and People reported that Robinson left on her own accord.
Meghan previously employed nine other individuals to manage her communications, two of whom have since been promoted to non-publicity roles with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Meghan and Harry, 41, stepped back from their duties as senior working royals in 2020 and moved from England to California. In the years since their relocation, the couple landed a sizable deal with Netflix to produce a range of content, including a With Love, Meghan docuseries.
“We’re proud to extend our partnership with Netflix and expand our work together to include the As Ever brand,” Meghan said in a statement shared with Us in August, referring to her lifestyle product line. “My husband and I feel inspired by our partners who work closely with us and our Archewell Productions team to create thoughtful content across genres that resonates globally, and celebrates our shared vision.”
Meghan has filmed two seasons of With Love, sharing her passions for cooking, gardening and other DIY crafts with a cohort of her famous friends.
“I think, looking at that format — again, with a year of [learning] — we’re able to say eight episodes for two seasons, it’s a lot of work,” Meghan teased of the potential for season 3 during a Forbes panel earlier this month. “Having done Suits for seven years, I remembered what goes into a production. I also recognize how much people want content in different sizes.”

She continued, “It’s amazing to be able to sit and watch a show for 30 minutes, but how can I give you a recipe in two minutes and where can I share that with you and how that continues to grow As Ever? So, [we’re] exploring all the options of what it could look like.”
While Meghan played coy about whether there will be a third season of With Love, she is set to return for a “really good” holiday special.
“I do lots of gift wrapping techniques. You guys know I used to teach gift wrapping at Paper Source, an advanced gift wrapping [class],” Meghan teased of the upcoming special. “All of those things that you do as an auditioning actor, that’s not the full circle I was expecting, but here we are.”
Meghan and Harry’s Archewell Productions have also produced documentary series about their relationship, the world of polo and Harry’s Invictus Games. The couple’s firm is also developing an adaptation of Carley Fortune’s novel Meet Me at the Lake.
Meghan’s As Ever brand is gearing up for a new launch, as well.
“Save the Date,” Meghan wrote via Instagram on Thursday, October 23, hinting at an announcement on October 28.
