Meghan Markle not only served elegance but turned heads after she made a surprising appearance at Paris Fashion Week.
Marking her first-ever appearance at the event, the Duchess of Sussex stepped out in an all-white look.
The mother of two sat in the front row wearing an oversized cape paired with a button-down shirt and wide-leg trousers of the same color, giving the tonal outfit an air of elegance and effortless sophistication.
Her minimalist look and sleek back bun showcased an understated glamour that made her Paris Fashion Week debut effortlessly chic.
The 44-year-old royal’s attendance was to support Balenciaga’s new creative director, Pierpaolo Piccioli, for his first show with the fashion house as it unveiled its Spring/Summer 2026 collection.
“Over the years, the Duchess has worn a number of designs by Pierpaolo,” a spokesperson for Markle told PEOPLE, adding, “They have worked closely together, collaborating on designs for key moments on the world stage.”
Moreover, the former actress also celebrated Piccioli’s new role at Balenciaga and expressed her admiration for his creations.
“She has long admired his craftsmanship and modern elegance, and tonight was no different. This evening reflects the culmination of many years of artistry and friendship, reflected in her support for his new creative chapter at Balenciaga.”
Following her appearance at the fashion show, she was spotted in a minor social blunder with the creative director.
However, while the duo reconnected warmly during their reunion, Markle found herself in an awkward moment where they nearly bumped heads and came uncomfortably close to an accidental kiss.
In a video shared by TikTok user @SaintLeon, social media users flooded the comments, reacting to how uncomfortable and awkward the moment appeared.

Another commenter on X pointed out how the Suits star appeared visibly nervous during the encounter.

Apart from Balenciaga’s creative director, Markle was also spotted meeting Vogue’s former editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, who looked lovely in a burgundy leather jacket.
The fashion icon once said that the duchess inspired her to break away from her usual look and consider wearing suits.
