Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have once again faced a harsh public rebuke as a TV host weighed in on the prospects of a reconciliation with the royal family.
The couple stepped down from royal duties in early 2020, with their relationship with the royals now at an all-time low.
The pair share a particularly strained relationship with Prince William and Princess Catherine, with it remaining unknown when the once-close brothers last spoke.
After outlining several instances in which Harry has caused friction with his father over the years, Ms. Kelly expressed doubt over the likelihood of any reconciliation.
She said, “I’d be angry if I was King Charles but it doesn’t sound like he is angry. All the reports about him are that he is extremely forgiving of Prince Harry but he’s such a spolit brat son that he’s decided to villainize his own dad and she’s in his ear.
“I don’t know about reconciliation because it doesn’t seem like the Duke and Duchess of duplicity are into it. They are too busy firing more staff and reducing people to tears out in Montecito.”
She then turned her attention to the future when Prince William ascends to the throne, adding: “It’s not going to get any better for them when William ascends to the throne, those two hate each other now, William and Harry.
“So I don’t know, I guess those two are super big on alienating their fathers.”
The King has now wrapped up his four-day US visit and returned to the UK.
The 77-year-old monarch and Queen Camilla, 78, touched down in Washington, D.C. on Monday, where they reconnected with US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump.
Despite being on American soil, the King had apparently not arranged any meetings with Harry, Meghan and their children in California.
