Summer fairs and festivals in Wisconsin celebrate the ethnic food, music, arts and crafts that make our state fun to explore. Jump on a carnival ride, find a county fair, and gather under a tent with family and friends. Use this guide to find a fair or festival near you this summer.

MAY

Morning Glory Art Fair: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. May 30-31. Hosted by Wisconsin Craft, juried fine arts and crafts from area artists. Marcus Performing Arts Center, 929 N. Water St.

Port Washington Festival of the Arts: 11 a.m.-5 p.m. May 30. Live entertainment, artisan vendors, hands-on art activities on the lakefront. Franklin Street, Port Washington.

Smoke On The Water: BBQ & Brews Fest, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. May 30. Barbecue and other food vendors; sampling of beers, seltzers and nonalcoholic beverage products; and music. Maier Festival Park, 200 N. Harbor Drive.

Locust Street Festival: 11:30 a.m.-8 p.m. May 31. Locust Street Beer Run kicks off event, followed by music on four stages, local vendors, art, food and beverages in Riverwest.

Polonia Sport Club Spring Festival: May 31. Polish Catholic Mass at 1 p.m., followed by Polish folk dance performances, DJ Silver, food and beer. Free admission and parking. 10200 W. Loomis Road, Franklin.
