I think most people love summer in Minnesota…even if it does get a little hot sometimes.

It’s a much-welcomed break from the cold and snow of wintertime, and it reminds us why we stick around through all of that.

One thing that makes summer in Minnesota even more enjoyable is all of the music in the park events!

Many cities and towns in Minnesota host a free outdoor concert series that gets people outside. You can bring a blanket or a folding chair, maybe a few snacks, and enjoy an evening of music outdoors.

Most of the musical acts are family-friendly, and some events are specifically tailored to children.

We thought we would round up these free outdoor summer concerts in Minnesota to have them all in one spot.

Maybe your town or a neighboring one is hosting free music in the parks, or maybe you’re looking for something to do while you’re on vacation elsewhere in Minnesota.
