• Underground Jazz, Friday, Nov. 21 — Bossa Nova Night featuring Ana Catharina, a Brazilian-born vocalist and performer. Her style blends Brazilian jazz with the expressive depth of theater. Directed by Felipe Brito, director of Jazz Studies at Southeast Missouri State University, Underground Jazz brings musicians from across the Midwest — St. Louis, Chicago, Nashville, Memphis and Kansas City — and beyond to Cape Girardeau and the SEMO community.
• Silent Disco, Saturday, Nov. 22 — combine wireless headphones capable of toggling among channels, three live DJs each with their own playlist and one dancefloor, and you have a party unlike any other. Presented by Abstraction Spirits.
• Old Cape Road, Wednesday, Nov. 26 — the band will bring its eclectic mix of 90s country and 2000s emo/pop-punk for a pre-Thanksgiving show.
• “Winter’s Kiss”, Friday, Nov. 28 — following Cape Girardeau’s Downtown Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony will be Debby Lennon with the Pfeffer Trio for a festive evening of jazz and holiday classics. A favorite in St. Louis and making her first appearance in Cape Girardeau, Lennon will bring her powerful voice and sassy stage presence to seasonal favorites by Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, the Gershwins and Harold Arlen.
• Mike Zito, Saturday, Nov. 29 — capping off the month, St. Louis native Mike Zito will light up the night with soulful blues. A Billboard-topping singer/songwriter and guitarist, Zito has won numerous awards, including Blues Music Awards Blues Rock Album of the year — twice. Special guest will be Dylan Triplett of St. Louis.
