Here’s a sample of some of the new holiday-themed movies coming to the major streaming services for the 2025 season, along with some of the titles that recently debuted.

“The First Snow of Fraggle Rock”: The Fraggles eagerly await the start of the holidays and learn that the most meaningful moments aren’t perfect — they’re unique, like snowflakes. Release date: Dec. 5.

“Vera’s Holiday Flop”: A high school reunion… what could go wrong? Vera (Charity Jordan) is not ready for this wild weekend packed with old flames, bad decisions and big laughs. Release date: Dec. 18.
“A Soulful Christmas”: When the children (Kenny Lattimore and Shannice) of two feuding musical legends are forced to collaborate on a holiday song remake, their rivalry turns into an unexpected romance. Release date: Dec. 25.
Disney+ and Hulu
Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas star in “A Very Jonas Christmas,” a new movie streaming on Disney+ and Hulu for the 2025 holiday season.
“A Very Jonas Christmas Movie”: Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas face a series of escalating obstacles as they struggle to make it from London to New York in time to spend Christmas with their families. Available now on Disney+ and Hulu.
“Joy to the World”: A famous lifestyle writer must maintain her carefully crafted image when TV cameras arrive for Christmas dinner. Her plan to have her best friend pose as her spouse leads to unexpected feelings and revelations. Available now on Disney+ and Hulu.
“Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol”: Santa’s elves Wayne and Lanny return for the holidays. Wayne’s attempt to prepare a home for Santa’s arrival goes shockingly wrong, forcing him to cover up his mistake, lest he get in trouble. Release date: Nov. 28 on Disney+.

“A Merry Little Ex-Mas”: A couple (Alicia Silverstone and Oliver Hudson) wants an amicable divorce and one last holiday as a family, but new flames and old feelings complicate their plans. Available now.
“Champagne Problems”: Sydney (Minka Kelly) travels to France to secure the acquisition of a renowned champagne brand, and complications bubble up when she falls for a charming local (Tom Wozniczka) who turns out to be the founder’s son. Release date: Nov. 19.
“Jingle Bell Heist”: Sophie (Olivia Holt) and Nick (Connor Swindells) hate their boss, the owner of a large London department store known for its holiday extravagance. After he stiffs them both on pay, they plan a hapless heist of his penthouse on Christmas Eve. Release date: Nov. 26.

“Oh. What. Fun.”: When her family accidentally leaves her behind during the holidays, a devoted mom (Michelle Pfeiffer) embarks on an impromptu adventure. Release date: Dec. 3.
“Merv”: Exes (Zooey Deschanel and Charlie Cox) try co-parenting their dog after a breakup — but when their pup grows depressed, a trip to Florida rekindles old feelings; Patricia Heaton co-stars. Release date: Dec. 10.

“A Royal Christmas Hope”: At Christmastime in New York City, a nonprofit director meets a prince volunteering incognito at her charity. Available starting Nov. 23 on UPtv
“Fake Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”: When a professor (Kiki Layne) pretends to be in a relationship with an unconscious stranger, she’s swept into his family’s holiday plans — complicated by her ex (Etienne Maurice), who happens to be his doctor. Available starting Nov. 29 on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN).
“She’s Making a List”: As an inspector for the Naughty or Nice Group, Isabel (Lacey Chabert) falls for the widowed father of a child she is evaluating. Available starting Dec. 6 on Hallmark+.
“Very Merry Mystery”: A beauty shop owner (Ashleigh Murray) attends a Christmas murder mystery party that turns real. She then teams up with her detective boyfriend (Tristan Mack Wilds) to solve the case. Available starting Dec. 13 on OWN.
