Studio B owner Ron Mesh discusses the new facility in Indio
Studio B owner Ron Mesh discusses his Dolby Atmos recording and mixing facility in Indio, Calif., on Aug. 21, 2025.
The Dune Room, a new downtown Indio music venue replacing the former Little Street Music Hall, will open on Friday, Dec. 11 with a performance by the B-Side Players.
After Avenida Music — featuring Indio residents Josiah, Vincent and Samuel Gonzalez — announced in July 2025 that Little Street Music Hall and Encore Coffee would be closing its doors, Studio B owner and Guns N’ Roses tour manager Ron Mesh announced the new venue at the location.
According to its website, the 300-capacity venue “blends vintage charm with cutting-edge sound.”
The Dune Room also has other scheduled concerts and events listed at duneroomindio.com/our-shows.

Who are The B-Side Players?
Led by Karlos “Sorak” Paez, The B-Side Players formed in 1994 in San Diego and blend musical traditions of Cuba, Jamaica, Mexico and Brazil with funk, rock, jazz and hip-hop. The band has shared stages with Ozomatli, Ben Harper, The Wailers, WAR and more.
Does The Dune Room have food?
In addition to operating as a music venue, The Dune Room will also open at 7 a.m., selling house-made bagels and organic coffees, and will soon launch The Saturday Morning Cereal Club, offering free membership to local Indio children, 12 and under, who will be served classic breakfast cereals free of charge from 8 to 10 a.m. at the venue’s bespoke cereal bar.
“The Dune Room is much more than a nightclub; we see it as a community resource,” Mesh said in a statement.
