Sydney’s spectacular harbour is about to gain a new home for live music, with promoter Fuzzy unveiling The Point, a new concert series set to transform Fleet Steps at Mrs Macquaries Point into one of Australia’s most striking outdoor venues this spring.
Running across September, October and November, the inaugural series will see a floating stage rise from Sydney Harbour, hosting an eclectic lineup that spans Australian rock royalty, singer-songwriters, soul, dance music and electronic heavyweights.
Opening the series on September 30 are Australian icons ICEHOUSE, whose catalogue remains woven into the country’s musical DNA through enduring classics including Great Southern Land, Electric Blue and Crazy. The following evening, Missy Higgins takes to the harbour for what will be her only Sydney performance of 2026, while The Teskey Brothers celebrate the 10th anniversary of their breakthrough debut album Half Mile Harvest with a special waterfront show on October 2.
The series shifts gears in November with the return of Hot Dub On The Harbour, as Hot Dub Time Machine brings its hugely popular time-travelling dance party back to the harbour on November 20. The inaugural season then concludes with the long-awaited return of Harbourlife on November 21, featuring an international electronic lineup led by Honey Dijon, alongside Max Dean, Luke Dean, Ben Sterling, Omar+, HoneyLuv, Jordan Brando, Morgan Seatree and more.
Presented by Fuzzy, The Point builds on more than two decades of concerts held at Fleet Steps, reimagining one of Sydney’s most iconic waterfront locations as a dedicated destination for live music. With the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge framing every performance, the series aims to become a permanent fixture on Australia’s live music calendar.
