Nicole Kidman has officially filed for divorce from Keith Urban.
After 19 years of marriage, the Babygirl actress, 58, and country singer, 57, have separated.
Nicole has officially involved lawyers after “living apart for months.”
According to TMZ, she had wanted to save the marriage, but Keith was completely done. It could have to do with their inner circle’s claim of another woman being in the picture.
Nevertheless, Nicole has given up on their marriage and is now moving forward with legal moves.
While speaking to People, a source said, “People close to Keith felt like the split was kind of inevitable.”
“Keith never sees Nicole, either she is filming or he is on tour,” the source explained. “There was a lot of love between the two, and they might not divorce. They’ve been together for decades, so there is a world in which they can reconcile, but the way their pairing is now, they are not a couple.”
Nicole and Keith originally met in January 2005 at the G’Day USA gala in Los Angeles. She previously admitted he hadn’t called her right away after exchanging numbers.
“I had such a crush on him, and he wasn’t interested in me. It’s true!” Kidman revealed to Ellen DeGeneres. “He didn’t call me for four months.”
The two officially tied the knot in June 2006 during a candlelit ceremony in Sydney, Australia.
