WAYNESVILLE, Ohio — The Ohio Renaissance Festival is attended by hundreds of thousands every year, those looking to be transported back to a time of knights, jousting and — of course — giant turkey legs.
The festival has received some high praise in the USA Today’s 10 Best Renaissance Fairs ranking, landing the number one spot on the list in the U.S.
“We are incredibly honored and grateful to our fans, performers, artisans, and staff who helped make this possible,” said festival organizers in a press release Thursday. “Being named the #1 Renaissance Faire in the country by USA TODAY readers is a testament to the passion of the community that brings the village to life each season.”
