Olivia Rodrigo has released her two live performances with the Cure’s Robert Smith at Glastonbury as she prepares a new live album capturing her entire headlining set earlier this summer.
Rodrigo’s set at the Pyramid stage back in June earned rave reviews, with Smith’s appearance garnering significant attention. In introducing Smith, Rodrigo called him a “Glastonbury legend” — the Cure have headlined the festival four times — as well as “perhaps the best songwriter to come out of England” and “a personal hero.”

They then performed two Cure classics, 1992’s “Friday I’m in Love” and 1987’s “Just Like Heaven,” both of which are now available on streaming services. An official performance video of “Friday I’m in Love” is also now available on Rodrigo’s YouTube page. (A clip of “Just Like Heaven” has been up for several months.) All of the artists’ net proceeds from both recordings will be donated to Doctors Without Borders.
Rodrigo has also made Live From Glastonbury (A BBC Recording) available to pre-order. The 20-track album will be pressed as a double-LP on magenta and periwinkle transparent vinyl, and it’s set to ship on Dec. 5. The whole album will hit streaming services that same day.
Outside of her two songs with Smith, the Live at Glastonbury track list boasts hits and favorites from across Rodrigo’s 2021 debut album Sour and her 2023 follow-up Guts. Rodrigo has spent much of the past two years touring in support of Guts, with the run officially wrapping this summer.
Glastonbury was not the only major festival Rodrigo headlined this year, nor was Smith her only surprise guest. At Lollapalooza, Rodrigo brought out Weezer to perform “Buddy Holly” and “Say It Ain’t So,” and at Governors Ball, she and David Byrne performed the Talking Heads classic, “Burning Down the House.”
