Dodge starts on Jan. 5 and will report to Paramount Pictures co-chairs Dana Goldberg and Josh Greenstein. In her new role, Dodge will oversee all operations of the animation group from development through release.
She’ll take over for Ramsey Naito, who exited the top post amid the executive shakeup surrounding the company’s $8 billion merger with Skydance. As part of the transition, Paramount’s new chairman and CEO David Ellison announced last week that he’s undertaking a series of staffing cuts that are expected to eliminate approximately 2,000 jobs in the U.S. with additional layoffs taking place internationally.
