Prince Harry feels forgotten by his family.
According to an insider, the Duke of Sussex is devastated that King Charles III, Prince Williamand the rest of the royals failed to congratulate him and Meghan Markle on their eighth wedding anniversary.
“He’s now got Meghan questioning him on just how awkward their trip to the U.K. will be,” the source told In Touch. “She’s taking this as proof they aren’t wanted and it’s got Harry wondering the same thing, which has just gutted him.”

His Majesty missing the May 19 milestone was especially upsetting for Harry.
“In an ideal world they would have gotten a public message from the king,” the insider said.
“They never would have expected anything from the Waleses [William and Kate Middleton], but they were hoping Charles might extend some sort of olive branch, to signify to everyone that they are back in the fold,” the source noted.
“The fact that he not only ignored their big day publicly but also privately was a massive slap in the face,” the insider claimed. “It has left Harry completely shocked and depressed.”

While the Spare author is disheartened, his older brother is reportedly “thrilled” with the lack of communication between Harry and Charles.
“He’s bragging that it’s a sign he’s one step closer to getting Harry booted,” the source alleged.
Journalist Rob Shuter claimed there was motive behind The Firm’s lack of warm wishes.
“The silence was very intentional,” an insider told the reporter’s Naughty But Nice Substack.
“There was no phone call, no private message, no peace offering — absolutely nothing,” the source said.
Despite the royals staying silent, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared their happiness with the world by sharing never-before-seen photos from their wedding day on Instagram.
“Eight years ago today,” Meghan captioned a slew of snaps featuring the pair’s private moments at St George’s Chapel in England.
The Suits star also posted video of Harry and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, marking the milestone with a cake.
“When mama and papa, when we got engaged, we had a party with all of our friends and we said, ‘Everyone wear an animal onesie,’ and we were penguins,” Meghan told her kids in another snippet.
Despite the disappointment with their relatives, the duo knows their family rift won’t be fixed overnight.
“They’re not approaching it with the expectation of a quick resolution. It’s about taking small, manageable steps and seeing where things land,” an insider told People.
“This remains very important to Harry, with Meghan supportive,” the source added.
Although there might be a path forward with the leader of England, the Prince of Wales won’t be as easy to win over.
“William is over all the drama,” royal biographer Robert Jobson told the outlet.
“He doesn’t need it, and he doesn’t want it. He’s too busy and focused on his own family,” the author made clear.
