It’s no secret Prince Harry is desperate to reunite with the royal family after years of feuding.
The Duke of Sussex left the royal family five years ago, before moving to America with his wife Meghan Markle. The couple have issued a number of attacks on their British relatives, but Harry is hopeful to put all that in the past.
He’s reached out to his father King Charles in various TV interviews, most recently admitting, “I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point continuing to fight any more, life is precious.”
However, former royal aide Ailsa Anderson believes Harry will have to make some changes before his family agree to a reconciliation.
Giving advice to the Duke of Sussex, Anderson said, “Stop being the victim and start being the hero of the piece, start writing your own script.”
“I think trust is paramount in every walk of life, if you can’t trust your family, who can you trust?” she added.
Despite this criticism, Anderson did also speak about her positive interactions with the Duke of Sussex.
“My engagement and my experience with Prince Harry has only been positive,” she admitted. “He is very warm and very engaging and kind, so only fond memories of him, truly.”
