If you missed out on tickets to Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in
Style before they sold out, don’t fret: The Royal Collection Trust
has extended their landmark exhibit about the late monarch’s style
another six months.
Visitors will be able to view some of
Queen Elizabeth II’s most iconic gowns—including her 1947 wedding
dress and 1953 coronation gown—and outfits from her ten decades of
life through April 2027.
Three hundred items are on display at The King’s
Gallery at Buckingham Palace, some for the first time. The
exhibit opened in April to coincide with Queen Elizabeth II’s
100th birthday and sold out shortly after opening.

“The response to this exhibition has been
unprecedented,” Tim Knox, the Director of the Royal
Collection, said.
“We are delighted to extend its run, ensuring that even more
people from across the UK and around the world will have the chance
to experience this once-in-a-generation tribute to Queen Elizabeth
II’s life and legacy, in line with our charitable aim to share the
Royal Collection as widely as possible.”
King Charles and Queen Camilla paid a visit to the exhibit on
the eve of Queen Elizabeth II’s 100th birthday last
month, and were joined by Lady Sarah Chatto, the late queen’s
niece, as they toured around the collection.
Caroline de Guitaut, the Exhibition Curator and Surveyor of The
King’s Works of Arts, said the exhibit celebrates “Queen
Elizabeth’s uniquely British style and her enduring fashion
legacy.”
