Rachel Brosnahan’s home life is under the microscope as fans taunt her husband, Jason Ralph, over the actress’ sizzling relationship with her Superman costar David Corenswet — and sources say it’s causing edges to fray behind the scenes of their marriage.
“Rachel and David had incredible chemistry on-screen but that’s where it ended as far as she’s concerned,” says an insider. “The problem is that the internet doesn’t know the difference, and now her husband is caught in the crossfire.
“He’s tried to laugh it off — he even ‘liked’ a troll’s comment calling him a cuckold, to show he was in on the joke. But it just backfired and made things worse.”

A cutting online comment sawed the Magicians actor in half with: “It’s genuinely sad to see your career being tucked out to be remembered as a cuckold because your wife couldn’t handle herself with her co-actor … have some self love and stand up for yourself,” according to Page Six.
Jason, 39, gave the jibe a “like” — but while some suspected he was just trolling back, others piled on.
“I’d be at the courthouse signing the divorce papers,” reads one comment.
“People are dissecting his every move and it’s becoming extremely uncomfortable,” says an insider. “Much as he might laugh it off publicly, it isn’t pleasant to have all these people speculating that his wife is having an affair.
“Poor Rachel is mortified. She wants to be talked about for her work, not cruel rumors over her marriage. She did her job and did it well enough that people now believe she and David are in love — it would be laughable if it weren’t so infuriating.”

Rachel, 35, plays Lois Lane to 32-year-old David’s Superman in the new movie — and their chemistry on-screen and in interviews has gotten the chatter machine going.
“It’s had real-world consequences for her and Jason,” says the source. “Having their marriage dragged into the conversation has led to more than one tense night at home. They’re sticking to their line that everything’s fine — but it’s put pressure on them. How could it not?”
