
Rachel McAdams remembers late Diane Keaton at Walk of Fame ceremony
Rachel McAdams has recently paid tribute to late Diane Keaton after she earns star on Hollywood Walk of Fame on January 20.
The Canadian actress, who worked with Diane in the 2005 movie The Family Stone, expressed her gratitude to the legendary star who she believed was the “great gift to learn from”.
While gushing over late actress, Rachel mentioned, “My beloved Diane Keaton, who took me under her wing like I was her own daughter.”
Sharing a lesson, she learned from her, the Mean Girls actress remarked, “She taught me that no matter how long you’ve been doing this, you have to leave everything you’ve got on the table.”
“Each performance, you must muster up as much love as you possible can. And then you’ll only feel like a dumb-dumb idiot half the time in life,” explained the 47-year-old during her moving speech at the ceremony.
Interestingly, Rachel also publicly acknowledged her decade-long partner Jamie Linden, calling him her “North Star”.
The Notebook actress also thanked Jamie for his continued support in her acting career.

Meanwhile, in an exclusive interview with Variety, Rachel recalled her moment with Diane during The Family Stone movie.
“I remember Diane saying to me on the movie set that she still felt like acting didn’t come easily to her… I was so surprised by that because she’s so effortless and she gives so much to it,” she stated.
Red Sparrow actress added, “I still don’t feel like I have the art of acting figured out.”
