Radial Entertainment, the entertainment company operating the FilmRise and Shout! Studios, Dec. 19 announced a slate of new partnerships aimed at expanding its reach in the global streaming TV ecosystem.
The deals allow the company to distribute its free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channels and ad-supported video-on-demand (AVOD) content through strategic collaborations with VIDAA, Titan OS and pocket.watch, while also licensing select Radial content to Creator Television for its FAST channels.
“Interest in Radial’s content continues to grow at an impressive pace, reflecting the strength of our diverse catalog and our ability to connect with audiences worldwide,” said Melissa Wohl, EVP of global distribution partnerships and content sales for Radial. “This expanded reach strengthens our global presence and reflects the strong partnerships we’ve built with top-tier digital platforms.”
The first and largest kids and family creator media company, pocket.watch pioneered the transformation of YouTube stars into globally recognized franchises. The company operates a network of owned-and-operated channels, including Ryan and Friends Plus, the largest independent kids’ SVOD in the United States, which expanded internationally earlier this year. The pocket.watch portfolio spans more than 50 top creators who collectively boast 1.3 billion subscribers and nearly one trillion lifetime views. In addition to showcasing its own creator partners, pocket.watch channels now feature premium content from across the broader creator ecosystem. Most recently, the company secured rights to FilmRise’s acclaimed digital-first series Guava Juice (Seasons 1–5, 90 x 30’) in key global territories including the U.S., U.K., Canada, Sweden, Australia and New Zealand.
VIDAA is a leading smart-TV operating system launched by Hisense and is known for its user-friendly interface and wide array of integrated streaming apps.
Titan OS SL, a Barcelona-based technology, entertainment and advertising company, is the independent European operating system that powers smart TVs from Philips, AOC and JVC with a focus on seamless functionality and high-quality streaming experiences.
Creator Television, the first creator-led network and content studio dedicated to bringing the authenticity and energy of social media storytelling to TV, has acquired worldwide FAST rights to Radial’s extensive library.
“We’re also seeing remarkable momentum with our creator-led content brands, which are resonating with audiences and rapidly growing in popularity,” Wohl said. “As we continue to scale our content offerings, we remain focused on delivering compelling, accessible entertainment to viewers around the world.”
