Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma are celebrating one year of marriage with a bang!
The couple marked the occasion by sharing a dazzling moment from their wedding: the fireworks display they surprised their guests with during the reception. In a joint Instagram post on Sunday, Sept. 28, they shared a clip of themselves standing on a balcony with drinks in hand as they thanked their loved ones for being a part of their nuptials.
“Thank you, every one of you, for being here. It’s very, very special,” Agruma said. “And we have a little surprise for you.”
The camera then panned to show elaborate fireworks lighting up the night sky over the water as guests clapped and cheered.
Agruma captioned the post, “Fireworks then and fireworks now 🎇🎆🧿❤️❤️❤️.”
The Lemon Ve Limon founder and designer also shared a second Instagram post in honor of her anniversary with Wilson, 45. The post featured a series of wedding photos, including shots of the newlyweds embracing and kissing with the fireworks as their backdrop. Another image captured the pair holding hands as they posed in their white wedding gowns.
Reflecting on the marriage milestone, Agruma wrote, “Happy 1 year anniversary to us my love @rebelwilson ❤️. One year married and nearly 4 years together 🧿. Cheers to our love and our family 🩷. I love you 😘.”
In her own solo post, Wilson revealed a glimpse of how the couple celebrated their anniversary. One photo showed the actress, Agruma and daughter Royce, 2, standing at the entrance of Claridge’s in London. In another, Royce can be seen perusing a menu inside the hotel’s restaurant.
Yet another photo showed the family’s special anniversary dessert — a small chocolate confection on a plate decorated with the words “Happy 1st Anniversary R & R” written in chocolate.
The Senior Year star and Agruma tied the knot on Sept. 28, 2024, at the ultra-exclusive hotel Cala di Volpe in Porto Cervo in Sardinia, surrounded by 60 loved ones. At the time, Agruma told Vogue why Sardinia is a special part of their love story.
“We went on an amazing trip there early in our relationship with our friends, the Ganzis,” she said. “We ate amazing food and found it to be the most romantic spot. So we decided we wanted to have a small destination wedding there with just family and close friends.”
Just months after their Sardinia wedding, the couple had a legal ceremony in Wilson’s home country of Australia. The Bride Hard star shared photos from the occasion on Instagram at the time, and revealed how it was a family affair.

“My sister Liberty officiated our legal wedding in Sydney!” she wrote. “It meant my 94-year-old grandmother Gar could come, which was very special to us to have her included and just felt right to do it in my hometown at this glorious time of the year! 😘.”

The brides wore coordinating pink dresses on the day, as they posed for photos in front of the Sydney Harbour. After the ceremony, they celebrated with their family at an intimate wedding dinner.
Wilson and Agruma, who went public with their romance in June 2022, got engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2023 at Disneyland in California.
