DAYTON, Ohio — For the third year, the “Rec Your Hood” series is coming back to Dayton.
The goal of the event series is to bring communities together for family-friendly block parties. It’s for residents to connect, have fun, enjoy food and listen to live entertainment.
This year, the series will take place in four new neighborhoods: Old Dayton View, Westwood, Historic Inner East, and Walnut Hills.
Here’s when they will happen:
- Saturday, June 6, 1-4 p.m. – Jane Reece/McIntosh Park, 882 Riverview Ave.
- Saturday, June 20, 1-4 p.m – Westwood Park, 2805 Oakridge Drive
- Saturday, July 18, 1-4 p.m – Bomberger Park, 1300 E. Fifth St.
- Saturday, Aug. 1, 1-4 p.m – Walnut Hills Park, 2340 Wayne Ave.
