The Reno River Festival will begin its 21st year at a new temporary location, Idlewild Park, instead of its usual site at Wingfield Park.
The change is due to the Arlington Bridges Project, which has closed Wingfield Park while the nearly century-old Arlington Avenue bridges undergo repairs.
The event will take place from May 30 to June 1 and will include three days of live music, drink experiences, food, shopping, rafting, rides, and several new features introduced for 2025.
Additions to this year’s event include a rubber duck scavenger hunt, a themed bar tour through the park, the Bark Park, a bucket golf course, and a new VIP experience.
The VIP Adventure Pass includes access to the MusicFest VIP tent, a food voucher, a pass for the themed bar tour, and admission to the festival for all three days.
Twenty-four acts are scheduled to perform across two stages.
Other attractions include a professionally led rafting tour down the Truckee River, more than 100 art and craft vendors, food trucks and specialty food booths, a dog area, yoga in the park, a festival-wide scavenger hunt, and the themed bar tour.
The Reno River Festival has taken place in Wingfield Park since 2003.
Organizers said the event will return to its original location after the bridge rehabilitation project is completed.
The project is also intended to improve community access to the Truckee River and Wingfield Park.
Three-day tickets are available for $15 and include access to all festival activities.
Children under 17 and dogs are admitted for free.

The Reno River Festival, which typically begins in Wingfield Park in the summer, will begin its 21st year celebration in 2025 at Idlewild Park, its new temporary home.
With all of the community’s favorite activities, including three days of live music, drink experiences, food, shopping, rafting, and rides, as well as some exciting new additions for 2025, the Northern Nevada festival is set to take place from May 30 to June 1.
A rubber duck scavenger hunt, a themed bar tour through the park, the Bark Park, a bucket golf course, and a new VIP experience are all being added to River Fest this year.
Access to the MusicFest VIP tent, a food voucher, a pass for the themed bar tour, and admission to RiverFest for all three days are all included in the new VIP Adventure Pass.
Over three days, 24 acts will perform on two stages at the Reno River Festival.

The project also intends to enhance community access to the Truckee River and Wingfield Park.
After the rehabilitation is complete, the Reno River Festival will return to Wingfield Park, according to organizers.
Currently, $15 tickets that are valid for all three days of the Reno River Festival are available for purchase. Children under the age of 17 and dogs are allowed free of charge!
According to the organizers, every pre-purchased ticket helps Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful and the Kiwanis Bike Program.
