Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Bozoma Saint John and Keely Watson are engaged.
“This engagement is my testimony: you can rise from grief, reclaim your joy, and still find a love worthy of your ‘yes,’” Bozoma, 48, told People while announcing her engagement on Wednesday, September 3. “Keely is proof that God’s timing is perfect — and so is His plan. I’m saying yes to life, to love and to the miracle of second chances.”
Boz told the publication that she was “very surprised” by the proposal.
“Even though I knew we wanted to get married, I wasn’t sure where or when Keely would ask,” she gushed. “I am still in shock and disbelief. I was nervous because I thought about how it would be when he asked and I wanted to be able to be composed through it but that was hard to do because my emotions were at an all-time high.”
The Bravo star was surrounded by a group of close family and friends during her engagement, which took place at BOA Steakhouse in West Hollywood late last month.
“I ordered over 14 dozen roses and had a mega bouquet of 100 roses that I presented to her,” Keeley said about decorating for the proposal. “I lined the walkway with a red carpet and candles, and I built a canopy draped in red to propose under. Around the canopy, there were more roses and candles.”
Fans got an inside look at Boz’s relationship with Keeley throughout RHOBH season 14, which aired last year. Boz revealed during a December 2024 episode that the couple had been together for eight months after meeting through Keeley’s nephew.
“I really wanted that element of surprise and so it was a lot of planning and coordinating on my part with the help of her daughter, Lael, and also her assistant, Nico,” Keeley told People on Wednesday.

Boz shares 16-year-old Lael with late husband Peter Saint John. Boz and Peter were married for a decade before they separated. He was diagnosed with cancer shortly after their split and died in December 2013.
During a February episode of RHOBH, Boz revealed that she suffered a pregnancy loss in the past and was diagnosed with preeclampsia. She has also been candid with viewers about wanting to have a child with Keeley despite struggling with her fertility.
“This pregnancy journey was in theory and now it’s reality. If I’m gonna get some needles poked into me, that makes it very, very real,” Boz said on the show. “I was really excited, but now I’m nervous. I feel scared. What if we don’t get the results we want?”
