In an interview with Entertainment Tonight’s Kevin Frazier, the Twilight star revealed that he had to decline the invitation to Swift’s New York wedding due to his work commitments in London. He was balancing promotion for his new Christopher Nolan film, The Odyssey, with filming for The Batman: Part II.
Meanwhile, his fiancée, Suki Waterhouse, was among the reported 1,000 guests. She apparently didn’t fill Pattinson in right away on all the Madison Square Garden festivities. The celebration included giveaways like Cartier watches, Chanel and Dior handbags, and even a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle, per Entertainment Weekly.
At The Odyssey World Premiere on Monday, July 06, in London, England, Frazier told Pattinson about the giveaways. “They were giving away lots of stuff?” the 40-year-old reacted. “What did I get?” In response, the interviewer quipped, “I would make a call real quick.”
Speaking of gifts, Pattinson’s supermodel fiancée walked away from Swift and Kelce’s wedding rehearsal with a diamond-encrusted champagne flute. Waterhouse has been friends with the “Love Story” singer since 2016. She also opened for Swift during the London shows of the Eras Tour in 2024.
As The Odyssey gears up for its July 17 global release in theaters and IMAX, Robert Pattinson is keeping busy on the press circuit. The Universal Pictures film held its London gala at the Odeon in Leicester Square.
