Rowan University has announced its 2025-2026 Marie Rader Series titled “A World at Home,” that features five performances spanning children’s theater, cultural dance, classical music and popular film scores
The events take place at the university’s Pfleeger Concert Hall and tickets are already available.
The series begins with “The Magic School Bus: Lost in the Solar System” on Sept. 20.
This TheaterWorksUSA production brings the educational characters to life as Ms. Frizzle guides her class through the planets on an interplanetary field trip.

On Nov. 2, the Calpulli Mexican Dance Company presents “Día de Muertos,” a performance that celebrates Mexican-American culture through folk and classical music and dance.
The production tells the story of a couple separated by treachery, with one entering Mictlán, the Aztec mythological underworld ruled by Queen Catrina. For tickets, click here.
The new year brings Ragamala Dance Company’s “Sacred Earth” on Jan. 31.
This performance features Bharatanatyam dancers accompanied by live music, creating what organizers describe as “a sacred space to honor the divinity in the natural world.”

On Feb. 28, Mnozil Brass will present “Strau$$,” showcasing the seven-member ensemble’s ability to move seamlessly between musical genres.
The performance celebrates Johann Strauss, known as the “King of the Waltz,” whose compositions revolutionized music distribution in his era. For tickets, click here.
The series concludes with “Blockbusters in the ‘Burbs” by The Philly Pops on March 14.
Under the direction of newly appointed Music Director Chris Dragon, the orchestra will perform beloved cinematic scores in what organizers are promoting as an encore performance. For tickets, click here.
Tickets for all performances are now on sale, with general admission ranging from $30-$35 and discounted rates available.
Children 12 and younger can attend the family-friendly fall performances for free with a required ticket, while those 18 and younger can attend the remaining shows for $10.
All performances will take place at Pfleeger Concert Hall, which offers free parking and wheelchair accessibility. Concessions will be available for purchase at all events.
The series is supported by the Henry M. Rowan Family Foundation through the Marie Rader Memorial Fund and the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.
