Amman, July 20 (Petra) — Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi
on Monday evening patronized a celebration organized by the Pioneer
Center for Studies and Human Rights Training in Amman to mark the
kingdom’s Independence Day under the theme “Independence and
Investment,” alongside the 10th anniversary of the center’s founding.
The event was attended by official and public figures, alongside
economic, media, and academic representatives from Jordan and the
wider Arab region, as well as delegates from public and private
sector institutions.
In a speech delivered on behalf of the honorees, media personality
Hani Al-Badri highlighted the importance of cementing national
dialogue and developing a discourse that reflects the efforts and
vision of His Majesty King Abdullah II in service of Jordan, adding
that mutual respect and affection represent the core values uniting
the Jordanian people.
The celebration featured a panel discussion moderated by media
presenter Cathy Farraj, during which the center’s director, Rania
Haddadin, reviewed the institution’s 10-year journey and its future
vision in the fields of human rights, capacity building, and
entrepreneurship.
Haddadin stated that the center has trained more than 2,500 young
people in leadership and investment, conducted specialized training
programs for parliamentarians, and organized 12 investment
conferences alongside roughly 70 local and regional conferences,
guided by royal visions on youth empowerment and development.
She added that the center has placed special emphasis on spreading a
culture of human rights, empowering persons with disabilities,
supporting orphans, reinforcing concepts of citizenship, rights, and
duties, and implementing programs that protect and develop the
capabilities of youth.
At the conclusion of the event, the center honored prominent
Jordanian and Arab economic, political, cultural, and media figures
in recognition of their societal contributions, with the Royal Court
chief presenting them with honorary plaques.
