Prince Harry would ‘love’ an invite to Sandringham by King Charles, sources have claimed. The Duke of Sussex reportedly wants to bring his wife, Meghan Markle, and two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to spend “family time” in England, but only if security is provided.
The Sussexes saw their security downgrade after they quit the Firm six years ago. But a source close to Harry told The Times: “If he [Harry] was invited by the King, he would get a security package that automatically kicks in.
“He’d like an invite to Sandringham. Would he go? It would depend on who was there. If the King was to say ‘Come up and spend some time with the family’ he’d love that. He always loves seeing his father and would love to see him as much as possible.”
“If the King wants to see the kids, all he needs to do is invite them over and it can happen,” an insider also told the Daily Mail.
