Brandon Saigeon, Jack Page, Liam Devlin, Alec Butcher and Connor McMenamin all scored as Reading avenged a Friday night loss to the Nailers.
The Royals return to Santander Arena to host Greensboro in a pair of games next weekend to close out January.
