In case we were wondering, Sabrina Carpenter‘s capacity for fame runs in her blood!

The vocalist was in her whole superstar element for her Vogue Italia cover shoot, and she spilled plenty of truths to make the edition even more exquisite, honest, and absolutely raw.

Sabrina Carpenter has enjoyed quite the controversial run in Hollywood since she broke out, from her outfit choices to the scrutiny of her sexuality and dynamics with men.

The 26-year-old got candid about the price she has paid for fame, which mainly demands that she constantly evolve and understand that every day presents a new challenge for her creativity. In her words: “I feel like I’m constantly changing as a person… What I create in this moment is made for this moment.”

She added laughter to her list of coping mechanisms, noting that humor has gotten her out of tricky situations that most tricks and has ensured her protection for the future, given her career.

Now, one trait takes the cake, and that is sarcasm, which for her came with the Carpenter genes and was passed down from mother to child.

“Sarcasm has been passed down through generations. My parents are both extremely sarcastic, and so is my sister. We all have a bit of caustic humor in our blood,” Carpenter declared.

The singer told Vogue Italia that she has also found home and fun in her on-screen character, the one people get to see and judge. The singer, however, confessed that while she gives the impression of playing a character on a show, she mainly speaks as herself and offers glimpses into her daily life.

The ‘Taste’ Singer Has Entered A New Phase In Her Personal Life

Speaking of evolving, the singer revealed in the interview that she now spends most of her time reflecting and introspecting. She talked about living a life filled with intentions, inventions, and “giving life” to people around her, a step she has begun by journaling despite her hectic schedule.

Carpenter added that her bedroom is where she feels most creative, and she takes her thoughts outside when she is in the mood to connect with nature. Through it all, the singer shared that she relies on the love of her family, friends, and team, who help her stay honest in a world where such honesty is rare.

Carpenter is also very grateful to her fans who have supported her through the last few decades, both in good and bad times. “With the songs they loved and the ones they didn’t love. They’re ready and available every day, and I love them deeply for that,” the songwriter concluded.

A Penny For Sabrina Carpenter’s Thoughts On Men And Baby Boys

The Grammy winner has had a few men on her roster who have left a lasting impression on her memory, shaping her thoughts on the male species. In the Vogue issue, Carpenter described men as a very entertaining species to watch.

“In positive and negative ways. I feel really adored and inspired and loved by some of them, and really confused and attacked and ridiculed by others,” the singer declared.

Despite this kaleidoscope of emotions, the birth of a baby boy in Carpenter’s inner circle remains a source of joy in her life, because she is confident they will defy the stereotype of boys being hard to raise.

She also previously reiterated her confidence in pursuing relationships with men who often hold back out of fear of being the subject of her scrutiny.

Carpenter insisted in the CBS interview that she will attract those who are meant to fit perfectly into her life and not display the emotional immaturity of being threatened by her creativity and success.

The 26-Year-Old Defended The Sensuality Of Her Performance

When producers Mike Stock, Matt Aitken, and Pete Waterman took a jab at Carpenter’s lyrics and presentation, describing them as vain and offensive, the singer did not hesitate to respond.

The Blast noted that Carpenter slammed the trio for their regressive comments and how they have decided to shame her craft despite her efforts at promoting body positivity and self-care.

Aitken has commented that Carpenter and other female artists selling their music with sensuality are indirectly harming the advancement of women in the industry.

For Carpenter, the culture of shaming female artists disguised as criticism did not start today; it has spanned several eras, from Rihanna to Britney Spears and Madonna.

“It’s like those who want to shame don’t make comments when I talk about self-care or body positivity or heartbreak, which are all normal things a 25-year-old goes through,” the singer explained. She declared that anyone uncomfortable about her confidence in her sexuality should clearly avoid her shows.

The superstar was beyond excited to let fans know she would appear as a feature on Swift’s “The Life of a Showgirl“ album, due for release on October 3rd. The Blast, in its report, shared that Carpenter took to her Instagram story to tell fans she was freaking out.

Swift and Carpenter have both come a long way in their careers and showcased their budding friendship to the world when she performed at the Eras Tour in 2023.

The actress was not discreet in her admiration for the newly engaged singer, as she had previously voiced her intentions to study the “Blank Space“ singer and her ways.

Last February, the duo showed up on stage again at the Eras Tour in New Orleans, performing a mashup of “Espresso“ with Swift’s “Is It Over Now?“ and another “Short ‘n Sweet“ track, “Please Please Please.”

With what Sabrina Carpenter has got in her arsenal, there is no stopping her!
