With the Peaty wedding day over, Dragon’s Den enterpreneur and Adam’s Strictly Come Dancing co-star Sara Davies has shared a sweet appreciation post following the big day
As newlyweds Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay recover from their luxurious wedding on Saturday (December 27), guests are already gushing about the couple’s “special day”. Adam’s Strictly co-star and Dragon’s Den entrepreneur Sara Davies was full of praise for the celebration, claiming she was served “the best wedding food” she’s ever had.
Despite being mired in controversy, amid a bitter family feud among Adam’s relatives, Sara said she had “the best time” at the “beautiful” service at Bath Abbey. Writing on Instagram she sent well-wishes to pal, Olympic swimmer Adam. Sara, 41, said: “Yesterday I had the privilege of being at this amazing man’s wedding – and it also gave me a moment to reflect on how lucky I’ve been to have him in my life over the past four years.

“From the first day we met on Strictly, we’ve been firm friends, and it was a real honour to sit in Bath Abbey and watch him get emotional as the love of his life walked down the aisle. It was such a special day.
“Simon and I had the best time, the service was beautiful – and I’m sure you’ll not be surprised to hear me say, it was hands down the best wedding food I’ve ever had. Wishing my wonderful friend and his gorgeous bride a lifetime of happiness together.”
The wedding saw Sara join a host of other celebrities, including the Beckhams – minus Brooklyn – and Masterchef star Marcus Wareing. Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay hired out the historic venue for the entire day to ensure his daughter’s nuptials went on without a hitch.
The venue itself was adorned with hundreds of white roses, while five security guards were stationed outside to keep the chaotic crowd under control. Holly was ushered in, wearing a long bridal cape over her lace gown, while her bridesmaids – including Adam’s sister Bethany – were dressed in scarlet dresses, designed by family friend Victoria Beckham.
The Beckham lads posted a selfie from the reception, while TV presenter Dan Walker controversially shared a couple of snaps of the order of ceremony. Original power couple David and Victoria Beckham were as well-dressed as ever, with Posh Spice stunning crowds with her teal satin gown.
But despite the extensive celebrity presence, the guestlist was completely missing all of Adam’s side of the family, with just his sister Bethany in attendance. It comes amid an ongoing feud with his clan, which culminated in all of them being uninvited from the wedding.
As they spent their son’s wedding day at the family home in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, Adam’s parents watched on with the rest of the public as the opulent celebration took place. Speaking to the Mail, Adam’s mum Caroline said: “As a mother, all you want your children to do is be happy in their relationships.
“I’ve not done this to ruin their wedding. It’s their wedding, yes, it’s a happy day – but it needs to be said. They are both still loved, there is nothing I won’t forgive, and I want them to have the best day.
“And what I want to say to Adam is stand by each other. But just because you love somebody and that love is intense, don’t forget the other people around you. A wedding day is such a happy event, and I think family should have been the priority at that wedding.”
