Sarah Ferguson was brutally savaged by a royal commentator after reports emerged claiming that she is considering giving a bombshell, tell-all about her recent ordeal following the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. The former Duchess of York has reportedly been offered “six-figure sums” by US channels to tell her own side of the story since losing her royal title.
Other “significant” offers have allegedly come from networks in the UK and the Gulf states. But, while it is not known whether Fergie, as she is otherwise known, will decide to give a bombshell interview about her “own side of the story,” a royal expert issued a dire warning about what could potentially become an “embarrassing” situation for the former royal.
Veteran royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams spoke to the Express and said that Fergie was a “disaster” as a working royal and described her as “totally shameless”.
He said: “There is little doubt that if Sarah Ferguson consented to some sort of kiss and tell interview, there would be plenty of takers and they would pay her substantial sums.
“Also, if the interviews given by Andrew Lownie, author of Entitled: The rise and fall of the House of York, are anything to go by, a large amount is yet to be revealed, which could prove extremely embarrassing to her.
“We will doubtless discover soon, she was a disaster as a working royal and is totally shameless.”
Fergie is allegedly inundated with offers to spill the beans on the latest scandal.
A source previously told The Sun: “Sarah and her team have had offers from all over the world for a sit-down. So she’s thinking things over very carefully.
“She and her team know a televised interview would be make or break for her in terms of salvaging her reputation.
“It would also give her the chance to spell out the fact she knew nothing about what Epstein and his associates were doing in terms of abusing girls.”
The source added that the ex-duchess still insists that she has done “nothing wrong” and has been “harshly treated” and a TV appearance would likely give her the chance to answer questions and set the record straight.
