Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are believed to have angered Sarah Ferguson after making a shocking revelation on Princess Eugenie’s wedding day.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex learned they were expecting their first child, Prince Archie, while still living as working royals in 2018. Their joyful news arrived just months after their storybook Windsor wedding.
They chose to reveal their announcement on Harry‘s cousin Princess Eugenie’s wedding day, and the decision apparently caused tension.

Despite Sarah’s reported frustrations, Harry detailed in his explosive memoir Spare why he decided to reveal the news to his royal relatives during his cousin’s wedding celebration.
In his 2023 book, he disclosed, “Euge was getting married, to Jack, and we were deliriously happy for them and for ourselves, selfishly, since Jack was one of our favorite people.”
He continued, “Meg and I were supposed to head off on our first official foreign tour as a married couple, but we delayed the departure several days, so we could be at the wedding.
“Also, the various gatherings connected to the wedding would give us a chance to pull aside family members one by one and tell them our good news.”
The pair publicly revealed their pregnancy on October 15 – just three days after Princess Eugenie’s wedding ceremony.
The uncomfortable dig has emerged again as Sarah and her former husband Andrew face renewed scrutiny over their connections to Jeffrey Epstein.
