Sarah Shahi just revealed some very juicy information.
In an appearance on a recent episode of “The Bossticks” podcast with hosts Lauryn Bosstick and Michael Bosstick, the L Word actress recalled the time she participated in one episode of The Sopranos — and got one of the best kisses of her life out of the deal.

When the conversation turned to the mafia series, Lauryn admitted that James Gandolfini — a.k.a. Tony Soprano — was her celebrity crush. Incidentally, Sarah had a very good story to tell on that exact subject.
In the episode she filmed, “Tony goes to Vegas to tell the girl that he was like messing with that Christopher died and I was the girl. I was like a Vegas showgirl, college student,” Sarah explained.
“Did you get to make out with him?” Lauryn asked, to which the guest said, “Yes, we had a full-on s** scene. I was on top of him and then we went to the desert and smoked peyote.”

As for what the actor was like in real life, he clearly made a great impression on Sarah for the short time they were working together. “He’s incredible. He was incredible. He was a very troubled man, but the crew loved him,” she said, referring to James’ well-documented issues with substance abuse and struggles with fame. “He had a lot of demons, and they sometimes interrupted filming. But he made it up to them, and he was an incredible man. I’m very lucky.”
Circling back to the intimate scene she shot with James, the starlet said, “Yeah, I did a s** scene with Tony Soprano. One of the best, I have to say, like, kisses I’ve ever had. We had this scene where, ugh, he was so hot.”

But that hadn’t been how she felt about him going into this acting gig.
“I remember thinking to myself too, like, how am I going to get turned on by this 47-year-old large, balding man, like there’s nothing, like how is this going to work for me?” she confessed. “Oh boy did it work for me.”
She also revealed that it wasn’t entirely for the cameras, either.

“There’s a scene where I’m sitting on his lap, and we’re taking these mushrooms, and then we have to kiss, and when they called cut, we were still kissing,” Sarah said.
“And I just remember that too as I’m talking to you guys. I’m like, ‘Oh my god.’ Like and we did it like three, four times and every time like they would call cut and we’re still f****** making out.”
Sarah is currently doing the interview rounds to promote her new memoir/self-help book Life Is Lifey: The A to Z’s of Navigating Life’s Messy Middle, which came out earlier this year.
