Scarlett Johansson discussed working with Adam Driver on Marriage Story at the New York premiere of her directorial debut film. In an exclusive quote to PEOPLE, the 40-year-old actress spoke about reuniting with her former co-star on their new movie, Paper Tiger, along with Miles Teller.

The Black Widow star revealed it was “great” filming with Adam Driver once again. “I love Adam as a person, and he is an absolutely extraordinary actor,” she added. “If I could make every movie with Adam Driver, I would,” she gushed fondly of her co-actor.

Noah Baumbach directed Marriage Story. Johansson and Driver starred as the estranged couple, Nicole and Charlie Barber, locked in a messy, torturous divorce battle. Their son, Henry, further complicates the situation. The film was critically acclaimed and released in selected theaters in the U.S., the UK, and worldwide via Netflix.

It was the first time that Johansson and Driver worked together, and a crucial scene from the film proved vital in a real-life situation. In one of the most pivotal sequences of the film, Nicole (Johansson) and Charlie (Driver) get into a verbal altercation about their broken marriage and murky divorce situation.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture used the infamous argument scene to scare off wolves.

When PEOPLE asked Johansson’s reaction, the actress chuckled and said, “Good, I’m glad we could be useful!”

Scarlett Johansson’s directorial debut film, Eleanor the Great, releases on September 26. Meanwhile, her upcoming crime drama, Paper Tiger, with Adam Driver, marks their second on-screen collaboration.
