A SCOTTISH musical icon has been announced as the latest addition to the line-up for the upcoming Beacon Book Festival.
Justin Currie, lead singer of Scottish band Del Amitri, will discuss his bestselling memoir, ‘The Tremolo Diaries’ on February 20, 2026.
Greenock-born journalist and broadcaster Paul English will chair the event.
Tickets, now on sale for £5 plus fees, can be purchased for the event at 5pm on the Beacon Arts Centre website.
The festival’s line-up already includes Scottish crime writers Denise Mina and Chris Brookmyre, local sci-fi author Ken MacLeod, Hebridean Baker Coinneach MacLeod, broadcaster Peter MacQueen and more, with further names set to be added between now and February.
