Sean “Diddy” Combs‘ children are continuing to plead for their father’s release from behind bars after a New York City judge sentenced the disgraced hip hop mogul to 50 months in prison on prostitution charges.
While in federal court on October 3, his children shared emotional statements, explaining how difficult things have been since their father’s initial arrest in September 2024.
Now, the children of Sean “Diddy” Combs are hoping to appeal to the public’s softer side by sharing a lengthy new tribute video, highlighting some of the rapper’s proudest life moments and accomplishments.

Less than 24 hours ago, Diddy’s children—King, Chance, twins Jessie and D’Lila, and Justin—shared a joint post featuring a montage of different clips of their father.
In one shot, the “Finna Get Loose” rapper is seen playing dolls with his young daughters, while in another clip, he is shown walking down the streets of New York City and interacting with community members.
The 11-minute video also featured a variety of people, including celebrities like music producer Babyface, describing the impact Diddy has had on their lives.
The video also attempted to portray Diddy as a pillar of the New York City community, featuring throwback footage of the rapper discussing the importance of properly raising the neighborhood’s children.
Diddy’s adult children were also featured at the end of the video, speaking highly of their father and explaining how much he means to them and their family.

Users React Positively To Diddy’s Tribute Video

In the comment section of their joint post, many users reacted positively to the video, sending well-wishes to Diddy’s children and attempting to lift their spirits by explaining how much their father means to them and the culture.
“Diddy is HipHop Culture,” one user wrote. “Especially [in] New York. LosingNotAnOption,” they finished.
Several other users commented as well, with many writing about how much they “love” and adore the “No Way Out” performer.
Another netizen attempted to share a different perspective, reminding Diddy’s children that he’s been “blessed.”
“They tried to give him life, God said, ‘No.’ They tried to give him 11 years, God said, ‘No,'” they wrote. “Four years will go by fast and he can be released from good behavior if Trump don’t free him before that.”

The Rapper’s Children Spoke In Court

The new tribute video isn’t the first time the rapper’s family has attempted to show their father in a different light.
During his sentencing, several of his children addressed the court through tears, pleading with the judge to give their father a chance to redeem himself.
His son, Justin, also called the rapper “my superhero” and explained that his father had been challenged behind bars in ways he’s never seen before, calling it something he’ll “never forget.”
“Your honor, I believe my father still has so much more to give the world and, more importantly, so much more to give his children,” he added.
Diddy’s other son, Quincy, echoed a similar sentiment and declared that his father had learned a “major lesson” while incarcerated. “Week after week, we’ve seen him evolve, something we haven’t seen in 15 years. He’s completely transformed,” he said.
Quincy also assured the court that his father would “never do anything to jeopardize his freedom” again, adding that it’s their family’s hope and wish “to heal together.”
Diddy Wrote A Letter To The Judge

Prior to his sentencing, Diddy wrote a 4-page letter to the judge, acknowledging his wrongdoing and apologizing for his behavior.
The rapper called his incarceration and federal trial “the hardest two years of my life,” adding that he’s the only one to blame for his current situation.
Diddy assured the judge that he was no longer “running” from his mistakes but was instead owning them. He went on to say that his “downfall” was caused by his “selfishness” before addressing his abusive relationship with his ex-girlfriend of nearly 10 years, Cassie Ventura.
“I lost my way,” Diddy wrote in the letter to the judge. “I got lost in my journey. Lost in the drugs and the excess. … I have been humbled and broken to my core.”
He added, “The old me died in jail, and a new version of me was reborn. Prison will change you or kill you—I choose to live.”
Could President Trump Pardon The Rapper?

According to a previous report from The Blast, President Trump revealed on October 6 that Diddy’s team had been in contact with him regarding a presidential pardon.
“I call him Puff Daddy; he has asked me for a pardon,” Trump admitted.
However, a White House spokesperson kept tight-lipped about the possibility of a pardon becoming a reality, explaining that their administration would “not comment on the existence or nonexistence of any clemency request.”
