See Hollywood’s biggest stars cuddle with rescue puppies at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival

Stars who stop by Entertainment Weekly and PEOPLE’s portrait studio at the Toronto International Film Festival have it really ruff — they get the chance to pose with adorable puppies!

The pawsitively precious pooches come by way of Project Paws Dog Rescue, a Canadian, volunteer-based, not-for-profit organization dedicated to rescuing unwanted dogs and giving them a second chance by placing them into loving furever homes.

Some celebs who are going off leash to play with the pups — while also promoting their films at the fest — include Ryan Reynolds (John Candy: I Like Me), Ethan Hawke (The Lowdown), Ben McKenzie (Everyone Is Lying to You for Money and Motor City), Stephen Amell (Little Lorraine), and more!
