Hollywood actor Terry Crews, known for hosting America’s Got Talent and starring in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, recently discussed Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s immense global popularity. Terry described the Jawan actor as a true international superstar. He further compared SRK’s popularity to that of Hollywood actor Tom Cruise and football player Cristiano Ronaldo.
In an interview with ETimes, Terry said, “I would love to dance, just like the stars in Bollywood. I want to mention how Shah Rukh Khan has become this super international star. I haven’t met him yet, but I’m looking forward to that.
“To me, he is a true example of Tom Cruise-level Indian talent that has taken over the world. His brand and his name are like those of Cristiano Ronaldo. Its enormous,” Terry added.
Beyond his comments on SRK, the Hollywood actor also spoke about his appreciation for Bollywood.
“Everybody around the globe wants what India has simply because it really satisfies a need in so many ways. I’m a big fan of music and dance. In fact, I am a dancer first. When you look at the culture and the way they’ve incorporated big musical performances into the movies, you don’t get that in America,” Terry said.
He added, “It comes along once in a blue moon, like a Wicked. When I watch these major stars dancing to the amazing music, I miss it. It reminds me of the old Hollywood,” Terry added.
Earlier in December, he shared a photo with actor Ranveer Singh on social media, congratulating him on the success of Dhurandhar. “Me and the great @ranveersingh at @abudhabigp!!!! Congrats on DHURANDHAR,” Terry wrote.
In upcoming projects, Terry Crews will appear in PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie, set for release in August 2026.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh is preparing for his next film, King, directed by Siddharth Anand. The movie is expected to feature his daughter Suhana Khan in her theatrical debut, alongside Deepika Padukone, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Abhishek Bachchan.
